Ground Improvement for Juvenile Justice Center

Learn how we performed ground improvement services for a juvenile justice center in Georgia.

Why Was CNC Foundations Needed?

PROJECT OVERVIEW

A new juvenile justice center in northern Georgia needed ground improvement on the site of their new facility. The soils on the site weren’t strong enough to keep the facility’s foundation in place. Vibratory stone columns (VSCs) stabilize weak soils to make way for building foundations. CNC Foundations installed our VSCs to provide the solution the juvenile justice center needed.

REQUIREMENTS AND CHALLENGES

The VSCs strengthened the foundation of their new structure. The soil has the support it needs to carry the facility’s foundation and the rest of the structure. Now the juvenile justice center has the strong foundation they need to complete the rest of the facility’s construction.

SOLUTION AND RESULTS

The client was happy to have the ground strengthened, but they were also glad to develop a relationship with CNC Foundations. The relationship they developed with us helped them complete their ground improvement project on time and within budget.
