Inside Business Development Manager

CNC Foundations (Helitech CCD) is a specialized geotechnical commercial subcontractor, servicing the continental U.S., working with general contractors, developers, and construction managers on projects for ground improvement and settlement control. We are an innovative, high integrity, fast-growing company that values and respects our team, our families, and our clients.

Job Description

This position is high-profile with the principal responsibility of Business Development, as well as relationship development/management with prospects, influencers, and existing customers.

These prospects and customers will include engineers, principals, estimators, project managers, and senior leadership.

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for growing sales in their territory by developing relationships with key decision-makers within the industry and researching, understanding, and executing their sales business plan toward define revenue goals.

Responsibilities

  • Contract negotiations
  • Daily management of territory development and monitoring project schedules
  • Working with the in-house marketing team to create and implement marketing efforts
  • Cost control
  • Securing payment.
  • Developing business plans, marketing, and sales of ground improvement systems.

Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates should have 2 or more years of experience growing technical solution sales revenue within territory or market segment.
  • Able to work in team environment/office
  • Developing extensive knowledge and skills within the industry with the goal of becoming a trusted advisor for CNC Foundations customers.

  • Demonstrated technical aptitude
  • Competitive drive and attitude
  • Limited travel throughout the territory (<2-5%)
  • Delivering effective and professional presentations via video and/or in-person
  • Effective and successful negotiation with customers on contracts and pricing
  • Comfortable and skilled at engaging with Engineers, General Contractors, and Owners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Computer aptitude/skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote, and CRM
  • Working knowledge or experience in general construction, shoring and earth retention, micropiles, and drilling a plus.

Project Estimator

Job Description

The project Estimator will be responsible for the construction as well as financial aspects of multiple projects. Responsibilities will include qualifying projects for bid, estimating, budgeting, securing contracts, and supervising personnel on the project. This will include maintaining the highest quality of product standards, supervising financial aspects of the project while administering quality construction safety practices in order to successfully complete projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Estimate projects from bid drawings, specs, and contract documents.
  • Read blueprints to perform take-offs from the drawings and work with the company estimating software to originate bid prices.
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates and cost tracking reports.
  • Qualify projects for possible bid opportunities.
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
