We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operating Foreman to lead and coordinate field operations involving heavy equipment for foundation and ground improvement projects. This role is responsible for supervising crews, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining equipment productivity, and delivering high-quality work on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of equipment operators and laborers on-site.
- Operate and oversee the use of heavy equipment such as drill rigs, excavators, and loaders.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and project specifications.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and equipment inspections.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules or resources as needed.
- Train and mentor crew members on equipment operation and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of labor, equipment usage, and materials.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment operation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Strong knowledge of foundation construction, drilling, or ground improvement techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to extensively travel to job sites.
