Discover how our deep foundation services improved a manufacturing facility in central Illinois.
The client ran a manufacturing facility in central Illinois that was being completely redone. They were building mezzanines in the facility to house office space and create an observatory deck that looked out over the facility’s floor. The mezzanines needed deep foundation helicals to support them. The client needed us to install the helicals while the facility remained operational and the other construction continued, so they gave us tight timelines for the project.
We installed over 500 helicals beneath the facility’s mezzanines and stayed within the timelines the client gave us. We had to go as deep as 60 feet beneath the mezzanines to get the amount of loading the project required. We also had to meet heightened safety requirements because this project took place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We met the project’s scheduling and safety requirements and finished the job on time. The client praised us for completing the job properly within the tight timelines they gave us.
