The project, a 4-story apartment complex with a parking garage, gave CNC Foundations a challenge of installing over 100 micropiles (each penetrating a minimum 6 feet into the rock). Our dedication to being your first choice in ground improvement led to two installation crews working simultaneously, ensuring efficiency. As the project progressed, the scope expanded, adding more than 130 micropiles to the count.
The site’s bedrock elevations were sporadic, requiring precise placement of micropiles wherever the bedrock wasn’t shallow. Working on-site for a month, CNC Foundations maneuvered in tight quarters, surrounded by neighboring structures. Winter added an extra layer of complexity to the construction timeline.
Despite these challenges, CNC Foundations successfully delivered the deep foundation solution and even completed the project a week ahead of schedule! Our commitment to being your first choice in ground improvement shines through in every project we undertake.
