Job Description

CNC Foundations, Inc. is currently searching for a Qualified Welder/Service Technician to work in our 10-bay service facility in Caseyville, IL. We are a leading specialty contractor in the St. Louis area working in ground improvement, deep foundations, and other geotechnical services around the US. Doing this type of work requires an extensive fleet of trucks, equipment and trailers. The company relies on our in-house technicians to make sure our fleet is always standing tall and ready to go to work.

Duties:

  • Perform various welding and fabrication duties and assist with equipment and preventative maintenance repairs on a fleet of trucks, trailers, tools, equipment and heavy machinery.
  • Experience with fabricating and broad knowledge in the use of a mig/stick welder, plasma cutter, air arc and oxy/acy torch is necessary.
  • Experience with minor heavy equipment, trailer and truck repair is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in welding and fabricating
  • Experience with minor truck, trailer and heavy equipment repairs
  • Need to be self-motivated and results-oriented, in addition to having a positive attitude, being well organized and having the ability to work under pressure/multi-task
