Position Overview:
CNC Foundations, Inc. is currently searching for a Qualified Mechanic Technician to work in our 10-bay service facility in Caseyville, IL. We are a leading specialty contractor in the St. Louis area working in waterproofing, foundation repair, rehabilitation, concrete leveling, ground water control, ground improvement, deep foundations, and other geotechnical services. Doing this type of work requires an extensive fleet of diesel trucks, equipment and trailers. The company relies on our in-house mechanic technicians to make sure our fleet is always standing tall and ready to go to work.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in diagnostics, repair and maintenance of diesel and gasoline powered vehicles. This includes routine maintenance, electrical system diagnostics, engine diagnostics, transmission repair, suspension repair, exhaust repair and basic body repair.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and repairs
- Experience with general welding and fabricating techniques a plus
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred
- Attention to detail, self-starter, strong work ethic, safety oriented and cleanliness is top priority
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ mechanic experience and equipment service operations
- Mechanical background with experience in heavy equipment.
- Trustworthy, self-motivated, results-oriented, positive attitude, organized, career minded, able to multi-task, follow direction with minimal supervision and work under pressure.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay range starts at $26 and goes up with experience.
