How the Depth Fields Work:

• The Dropdown Menu (“Depth (ft)”): This is for speed. It contains the most common depths (25-45) so you can select one with a single tap.
• The Text Box (“Depth (ft) Optional”): This is for flexibility. If you need a specific depth that isn’t in the dropdown (like 42.5), you can type it in here.

How they interact: When you pick a number from the dropdown menu, it automatically fills that number into the optional text box for you. The number in the text box is the one that will be saved in the log. Essentially, you can use the dropdown as a quick shortcut, or you can ignore it and just type the exact depth you need into the optional text box.
