Operations Manager
CNC Foundations is a specialized geotechnical commercial subcontractor, servicing the Continental US, working with general contractors, developers, and construction managers on projects for ground improvement and settlement control. As a leading company in the soil stabilization & ground improvement industry our company specializes in Micropiles, Vibro-Stone Columns, Helicals, Rigid Inclusions, and Aggregate Piers. We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee and drive excellence in our field operations. This position requires a highly skilled leader with a strong work ethic, the ability to manage large teams, and a commitment to safety, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Provide high-level management and leadership, ensuring smooth field operations.
• Lead by example, fostering a positive work culture and developing team members.
• Oversee 30-40 field employees, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and production SOPs.
• Hold employees accountable for performance, safety, and quality standards.
• Utilize Traqspera, Procore, and Wrike for project and operations management.
• Implement and maintain best practices in construction and ground improvement.
• Leverage basic computer skills to analyze reports, track progress, and optimize workflows.
• Be willing to travel extensively to job sites
Qualifications:
• Strong leadership experience with a proven track record of managing teams.
• A high level of work ethic, positive attitude, and coachability—the “un-teachables.”
• Background in ground improvement, construction, or related fields preferred.
• Experience with project management software (Traqspera, Procore, Wrike).
• Ability to problem-solve, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
